10 Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas $20-200+

I’ve never been super into Valentine’s Day but it certainly is an amazing time to gift your special someone (or yourself… why not!?) with a luxe beauty gift – something extra nice, unique and thoughtful. I compiled some of my own personal wish list items with some items I have been gifted and love, as well. I tried to cover all budgets in this Valentine’s Day Beauty Gift Guide, so I hope this helps you get inspired for some love! Of course, money can’t buy love, but for those who like pretty things, keep reading to find out prices and where you can find these items…

Valentine's Day Beauty Gift Guide with items ranging from $20-200 for all budgets on brighterdarling.com. I've either been lusting after these items myself, or they're favorites of my own from Bobbi Brown, Kendra Scott, Amika, Charlotte Tilbury, Fresh, Victor and Rolf, Victoria's Secret, Kate Spade and Jo Malone!

  1. Bobbi Brown Everything Eyes Palette (Nordstrom Exclusive), $75 | I recently watched a short video where a Bobbi Brown makeup artist used this palette and it looked so beautiful.  It’s an amazing price for nine Bobbi Brown shadows with various finishes and tones. BONUS, it includes four essential brushes! This palette is so versatile for every day and is compact enough to keep in your purse and ideal for travel. Click here to pick it up from Nordstrom with free shipping and free returns.
  2. Kendra Scott Sky Earrings in Slate, $55 | Living in Texas now for almost two years, I am very familiar with Austin-native and entrepreneur, Kendra Scott and her beautiful jewelry line. Not only are her pieces so delicate, feminine and fun (you can create your own color combos in her Color Bar online or in store), but I’m all about supporting lady-bosses, so it’s a no-brainer I would share one of my favorite color-combos from her collection – slate gray with gold trim. These earrings are just bold enough to wear day-to-night and not so big that they hurt your ears. Definitely check these earrings out here and her full collection here.
  3. Amika Blow Like A Pro Interchangeable Barrel Set, $90 | Ok, this is MY FAVORITE item on the Valentine’s Day Beauty Gift Guide! You’re probably thinking, “Wtf is this contraption!?” Well, let me tell you a little story of how to get Victoria’s Secret model blow-out hair… once upon a time, I used to live in Philadelphia and had my hair done at Vanity Salon (if you live in Philly, you need to go see Janine Antonini; she’s the best). It was super normal that they’d blow out your hair and ‘set’ each section in brushes. My stylist had a drawer full of this size brush in her vanity and I’d literally sit with a head full of 10 brushes until my hair was cooled down enough to remove. The result was insane volume, bounce, shine and the perfect sexy blowout. I cannot believe someone invented this kit with the removable brush handle so you’re not stuck with all those handles getting in the way. Genius. I’m really wish-listing this one hard. Pick it up from Birchbox here.
  4. Fresh Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask, $92 | I talked about this mask in a Luxe Holiday Gift Guide on my blogging buddy, Nicole from Lipstick and Brunch’s blog. What it says it does is true. I used a deluxe sample of this in August when visiting Vegas and it was insane how I’d use it at night for extra hydration and would wake up with invisible pores and tightttt (but not dry) skin that would last all day. There’s some sort of witchcraft in this product but I’m ok with it. Pick it up from Sephora here.
  5. Flowerbomb gift set by Viktor & Rolf, $120 | This is my signature scent. I wore this on my wedding day and for any very special occasions. It’s such a complex yet comforting, warm, floral yet musky smell. It’s heavy, so if you like more light, citrus scents, this isn’t for you, but it’s a very intoxicating smell that wears on the skin all day long and this gift set is a great value. Pick it up at Nordstrom (again, free shipping and free returns) here.
  6. Charlotte Tilbury Limited Edition Makeup Bag, $45 | Ok, this bag is a bit overpriced (but hey – this is a gift guide here, so this is the time to ask for those things you wouldn’t normally). What really catches my attention is the quote on the back, “Give a woman the right makeup and she can conquer the world.” Mic drop. Get it here.
  7. Victoria’s Secret Afterhours Satin Boxer Pajamas, $59.50 | I absolutely love the VS Satin pajama line and totally recommend them to anyone as a gift idea! They wash extremely well and are so comfortable. I particularly love the short sleeve/shorts combo because I always get hot sleeping, so this design is perfect. Personally, I own two sets of these PJs and would buy 20 more if that were even remotely reasonable. How cute is this gray leopard print!? Get them here.
  8. Kate Spade Heart In the Right Place Dish, $20 | I’m a big fan of Kate Spade anything, and this little dish would be perfect in the bathroom or on a nightstand as a jewelry holder. It’s just a little touch of something cute and a perfect thoughtful gift. Pick it up here.
  9. Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede Scented Candle, $65 | Jo Malone scents are potent – and that can be good or bad depending on the scent you pick. You definitely will get your money’s-worth with these candles… they burn slow yet fill the air with scent and Peony & Blush Suede is pretty universally loved. It’s a great intro to the brand and very classic-looking. A wonderful splurge-worthy gift idea for a mom! Get yours from Nordstrom here.
  10. Natasha Denona Glowing Skin System, $35-232 | Natasha Denona is a new-to-me and new to the commercial beauty world brand that’s currently sold exclusively at Beautylish.com in the U.S. She’s a pro/celebrity makeup artist who launched her line and is known for her beautifully healthy/glowing skin looks. She’s expanding her line to include eyeshadow soon, but for now, this skin system includes a primer, foundation, glow shimmer stick, glow powder and body glow gel/lotion. The product looks absolutely beautiful from what I’ve seen in the blogosphere, but if you’re extremely oily, you may want to steer clear. You can purchase her products individually, starting at $35-60, or get the entire Glowing Skin System for $230ish (depending what primer you choose). It’s certainly the Rolls Royce of Valentine’s Day beauty gifts, but one I’m sure any normal to dry skin (or more mature skin) would fall in love with. Get yours from Beautylish.com here.
