In lieu of monthly favorite beauty products – because I don’t believe in forcing favorites that just haven’t made themselves clear – I wanted to take a look at my analytics and see which of my February posts garnered the most attention from my readers.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out these top 3 February posts, I highly recommend checking them out. We have a new awesome duo at keeping pores clean and smooth (super budget-friendly), spring beauty trends and my very popular adult-braces/keeping teeth white update. Continue reading to check them out and help me with a product question in the comments below!
If you haven’t already seen or heard about this new baking soda cleanser line from Biore and you have combination/oily skin, get your butt to Target today to pick it up. The face wash is gentle enough to use daily, yet removes makeup and excess oil like a champ. The super fun exfoliating scrub is even better! As seen in the photo, it comes out as a powder and you add water to suds it up and control the exfoliation level. Some of my good friends have tried it since my post and are also loving it! Click here to read how I deep clean my pores using these two.
Spring is right around the corner and I was lucky enough to attend a spring beauty event with Estee Lauder at the Houston Galleria Macy’s. Chatting with pro team makeup artist from Los Angeles, he shared three spring beauty trends that really made me so happy. Go check it out here.
As much as I don’t love having braces at 30, it seems I have lots of people interested in reading about it and I even received the sweetest personal email from someone going through the same thing. It is soo nice to know sharing my experience helped someone – that is why I love blogging and even if she’s the only person these posts are helping, it’s worth it. This was my second update with braces (read the first here) and I shared how I keep my teeth super white – which is helpful for those with and without braces. Read more here. The next update is scheduled for March 28.
I’m really curious if anyone’s interested in me trying out some top LUSH products and/or what your favorite LUSH products are? I am a big fan of their bath bombs, but don’t really care for their face stuff (broke me out). Was considering trying some body products and giving my no-BS thoughts on them. Let me know what some of your favorites are below OR if there’s any other brand/product you’re curious about.
