Rarely do I have back to back month’s of favorites, but I couldn’t pass this month by without calling special attention to my September 2017 beauty favorites. If you’re looking for a discreet way to heal or hide a blemish, need a new fragrance for fall, or simply want to add a couple new makeup items to your repertoire, then you’re in the right place.
If you’d rather watch an eight-minute video on my YouTube channel featuring my five September faves, then feel free to do so, but I’m also including a bit of detail here on the blog for my readership.
Although I don’t think these invisible dots do MUCH on new breakouts, they’re excellent at quickly (as in, overnight) healing and flattening out an already ruptured (or picked… tsk tsk!) blemish.
I’m a huge fan of this indie fragrance brand.
Totally vegan and cruelty-free, these coconut-oil infused scents smell clean, soft and beautiful. Mix and layer to create your perfect blend.
Sold at Ulta (reward points!) and a portion of your purchase goes to scholarships for girls. Win/win.
Never a huge lover of color correctors (except for peach tones under the eyes), this balm is super pigmented, creamy and doesn’t cake up or look flaky under makeup.
A big surprise even to me, I couldn’t deny I reached for the HEAT palette quite a bit over the month… as in, barely put it down.
The mostly matte, warm-toned rusty browns, and reds are a wonderful complement to autumn tones.

So happy to report if my Physician’s Formula eyeliner ever disappeared, I now have another drugstore/affordable alternative!
In fact, I find this NYX liner to be even more black and this formula is waterproof.
Tell me what beauty products have you been enjoying! If you found this helpful or learned something new, I’d appreciate if you would share on social media or send to a friend who would like it, as well.
