Pixi Beauty is known for being effortless and accessible and one of their latest releases – the MatteLast Liquid Lips – are no exception. When I saw the curated collection of completely wearable, everyday-appropriate, pretty shades, I had high hopes these would be a solid release. Continue reading to see if this launch met my expectations and to check out the swatches in my Pixi MatteLast Liquid Lip review.
Currently available in six shades from nude to pink and berry (I have 5 of them), these liquid lipsticks provide long-wearing color in a comfortable formula.
They’re infused with rosehip seed oil to moisturize and provide anti-aging benefits, as well as, being cruelty and paraben free!
The wide, ‘Pixi-petal’ applicator provides quick color in a single stroke.
I’ve been using these for over a month now, and I love the colors included in this collection!
They go with any makeup look and even look good on their own if you just want a long-wearing lip color.
With normal wear (minimal drinking, non-greasy food eating), I can get about 6 hours of decent wear from these… and they wear off nicely since most of the shades are so neutral.
I’d say the one thing I don’t LOVE about this formula is the applicator. Although it’s super wide and that makes for easy one-coat color, it’s very flexible so it can be a bit tricky to apply since the wand is so bendy.
However, this formula is the best liquid lipstick I’ve tried from the drugstore.
They remind me of my favorite, ColourPop Ultra Satin Lips, but the best part is these are at Target.
You can find them here for $14 each.

What do you think of this formula and release from Pixi? Will you be trying them out?
