I have a type when it comes to nude lipsticks. There seems to be an endless amount of pinky nude lip colors in my collection but trust me, they’re all SLIGHTLY different. My new favorite nude pink lip combination is probably the most unique of the bunch and definitely something a little different for me. It’s part of Estee Lauder’s new Pure Color Envy lip line and certainly worth checking out because they launched a ton of new, on-trend nude lipsticks (finally!)…
I’ll keep this short and sweet because I mean, it’s a lipstick and lip liner. This isn’t rocket science. But my new favorite nude pink lip consists of Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Lip Pencil in Nude, which is a peachy beige with a slight sheen. The slight sheen definitely makes the lips look fuller – I never considered that subtle effect could make such a big impact.
The lipstick itself is Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Hi-Lustre Light Sculpting Lipstick in Sweet Sinner. It’s a brand new shade to the Estee Lauder line and the hi-lustre lipsticks are new, as of 2016. Sweet Sinner is a light-medium beige-pink with soft silvery shine. The hi lustres have a smooth, soft shimmer which, again, creates a fuller-looking pout.
Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Lip Pencil is one of my favorites – it’s extremely long-wearing and doesn’t flake or get patchy. They’re right up there with my Charlotte Tilbury lip pencils. Nude, Rose and Mauve are my favorites from the line.
The Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy lipsticks are super creamy, hydrating, and long-wearing (a solid six hours with an even fade). They come in a weighted metallic navy blue and gold lipstick bullet, which is nice because it certainly feels luxe and fancy! I’m a huge fan of the hi lustres and with matte/liquid lipsticks slowly fading out this season, this is a formula to try.
