Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation Review + Wear Test [YouTube]

Oh wow, look, another giant block of time and I haven’t published a blog post! I know, I know. I definitely need a better system. But, if you’ve been with me awhile, although blog posts may not be as frequent as they’ve been… I am still very active on Instagram and Instagram stories, you’ll find YouTube videos go up, and also Facebook posts. It’s just very hard to sit down and be able to write – undistracted – for longer than 10 minutes. ANYWAY! Let’s talk about perfect looking skin. This is actually a YouTube video I filmed awhile back, but never made it to my readers here on the blog! Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Finish Foundation was probably one of the most polarizing foundations I’ve tried to-date, but let’s get into my thoughts on it…

The reason I say this foundation is/was polarizing is that when it first launched, I heard NOT great things about it.

Many said it was hard to blend, heavy, cakey, etc.

Then, I had some tell me it was one of the nicest foundations they ever used! Felt super lightweight but had great coverage.

To be honest, I was so confused.

I love nearly EVERYTHING Charlotte Tilbury, so I couldn’t imagine NOT liking this foundation.

Let’s get into my wear test and demo in this video…

overall thoughts

So, it’s been a few months since I actually filmed this video and I’ll be honest… I still have fantasies about how amazingly perfect my skin looked wearing it!

Did it look like makeup? Sure.

Did it feel heavy? Not to me.

Did it wear well all day long? Yep!

So, there you have it. I think this is a great, extremely full coverage, lightweight-on-the-skin longwear makeup.

I also think it should work well on all skin types, with proper skin prep. For example, it would look stunning on dry skin with a nourishing, deeply hydrating moisturizer… or would look nice and matte for oily skin types using an oil-free, water-based moisturizer.

I’d recommend this especially for events, weddings, proms, etc.

What are your thoughts on this foundation if you’ve tried it? Are you on the love it or hate it side?
