Who doesn’t have a product they love from Burt’s Bees? Whether it’s their lip balm, makeup removing wipes, hand cream or one of the many other body/baby care products, Burt’s Bees has a solid following of loyal (and happy) customers.  I picked up a bottle of the new Goodness Glows liquid foundation a couple of weeks ago and wanted to share my thoughts along with an 8+ hour wear test. Let’s get into my Burt’s Bees Goodness Glows foundation review.

Burt's Bees Goodness Glows Foundation Review and Wear Test on Oily Skin Shade 1045 Warm Honey

I think Burt’s Bees fans were all pretty excited to see they expanded their color cosmetics range to include face powder, powder blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner and (for me) most excitedly – liquid foundation!

A 98.9% natural, full coverage, radiant finish foundation in 12 shades, Goodness Glows gives a natural look with good-for-your-skin ingredients.

It comes packaged with a convenient pump on a glass bottle. The packaging feels high quality and even the plastic cap has a nice, higher caliber texture to it.

Goodness Glows currently retails for $15-17 in the US, and I picked mine up at my local Walmart but it’s also at Ulta (get those rewards points!).

Unfortunately, the shades run VERY light. I wear shade 1045 Warm Honey and I’m not even self-tanned.

Also, although they provide cool – neutral – warm shades (points for that), I found the warm shades ran very neutral so if you’re more golden than me, you may find it a bit difficult to get a match.

The coverage is medium/buildable to me with a satin, extremely natural and pretty finish.

It lasts about six hours before intense signs of wear start to show on my oily skin, mainly on my nose.

However, even when it starts breaking through with oil, it doesn’t look terrible.

Burt’s Bees Goodness Glows Liquid Foundation holds its own with most of my high-end formulas and I think this is a solid release from the brand.

I do look forward to them (hopefully) expanding the color selection and possibly adding another formula. Maybe a more natural matte finish?

Have you tried Burt’s Bees Goodness Glows Liquid Foundation yet? What are your thoughts?

More importantly for me, have you tried the powder foundation? If so, I need to know because I LOVE finding new powders!

…Well, ok, let’s be real:  I love finding new complexion products – in general. 🙂

If you found this review and/or YouTube video helpful, I really appreciate it if you would share it on social media or with someone who would enjoy it, also. Thank you so much!
