To say this week has been extremely busy and exhausting would be an understatement. Lots of great opportunities are coming for Brighter, Darling and I’m really happy about it – so thank you all for your support in reading and sharing my posts! But for some reason, every day has been like a 3-cup-of-coffee a day sorta situation (I can usually get by with just a cup of tea). When I’m extra dead, I like to just sloth on the sofa at night catching up on some YouTube.
I got some good laughs out of a couple of girls testing out this “Instant Face Lift” product and learned about some great (and not so great) products from a couple of other favorite YouTube ladies.

Let’s start with this shenanigan because there were true moments of laughing out loud happening in my living room. What do you guys think of this product? Would you give it a shot? Brianna Stanko and I have a dear love of all things foundation and skin care, so it’s no shocker I loved her round-up of some recent favorites and regrets in the beauty world. I swear, Tom Ford Beauty is TAUNTING me. Not only do I read positive-review-after-positive-review (albeit the hysterical price tag), Houston JUST opened up a Saks Fifth Avenue fully stocked with his line. Kill me now, people.
As much as we all love a good “favorites” post or video, I think it’s equally as important to share our fails. For me, it’s a bit harder to do because if I hate something, I typically return it immediately (a blessing in the US… we can return used makeup almost anywhere). Emily warns us of quite a few products that were total duds and her always-honest opinions tend to ring true for me, as well. However, on the flip side, the reason SHE may dislike these products, may be exactly what YOU’RE looking for. Keep an open mind! Anything catch your attention?
