Best-of-the-Week: YouTube Beauty Videos

This week, I got to participate in a makeup artist training (which was super awesome and fun/exciting), and also got to teach my pups how to play soccer. My golden retriever sons and husband are really into soccer lately because of the Euro Cup, I think (I’ll share some pics after the jump because it is just TOO CUTE).

Besides my life, I’ve been super into tutorials on YouTube, apparently. I fell in love with a bridal makeup tutorial (a bit late for me personally, but still a stunning look), a ‘fresh faced’ easy look and a video providing 3 easy no heat hairstyles perfect for the hot summer.

Let’s get my pup pics out-of-the-way because I want to just smush their little faces:

Medium Golden Retriever Adult 6 Years Old Light Golden Retriever Puppy
The darker one is six years old (Tex) and the lighter one is 16 months (Jersey). I adore them.

I cannot even take how gorgeous this look came out and you’ll never believe how this look was achieved. I loved learning the techniques used by celeb makeup artist and also, just was surprised by the color selection used. I want to try to recreate this myself at home for a night out soon…

Kristin Gehm is a more *mature* YouTuber, but I like her because she’s genuine and no BS. The sparkly Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow in Pink Champagne she uses in this video really is gorgeous. One of those “one and done” shades that looks so stunning, it doesn’t need a plethora of other shades. In fact, this video made me swing by my local Sephora to pick it up.

If you like that effortless, ‘cool girl chic’ hair, then this video is for you. If you can’t already tell or know, I adore Alexandrea Garza’s whole aesthetic – from makeup to hair and fashion, and even her home decor! I can’t wait to try these styles. Which was your favorite?

I hope you all have an amazingly happy Fourth of July weekend! Stay safe, have fun and enjoy friends/family! I’ll be taking a blogging break on Monday, so we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled plan on Wed., July 6.

Happy 4th of July, ‘Murica!
