If you haven’t purchased something from Etsy before, where have you been!? From hair accessories to home goods and everything in between, the website has become the Amazon of small businesses around the globe. Personally, I love finding a good deal or unique item on Etsy because I love supporting individuals who are creative and entrepreneurial and I like feeling like I won’t find anything else like it in stores. I was shopping around on the site this weekend when I got lost in the beauty section (naturally). Before I knew it, I had 15 tabs open on my computer and knew it was time to publish a post on some impressive beauty buys from Etsy…
Taylor Beauty Station | $59.99 via iSkelterProducts
For those that follow me on Snapchat (@steffkochie), you may have seen that I’ve been working on putting all of my makeup items into a spreadsheet to organize and prevent ‘dupe’ purchases. I am also doing this to decide on a better means of displaying what I own. When I saw this little makeup station, I fell in love. First of all, how many of you are like me and watch YouTube or Netflix while doing your makeup in the mornings? What about keeping your phone nearby so you aren’t running late? This genius contraption holds your iPad, iPhone, a close-up handheld mirror and all your daily essentials in one convenient little station! Incredible.
Blue Tansy AHA + BHA Resurfacing Clarity Facial Mask | $48 via HerbivoreBotanicals
Gaining fast popularity with beauty editors and enthusiasts worldwide, I started seeing Herbivore Botanicals products most recently via some beauty Instagrammers using their Rose Facial Mist. Personally, there are more affordable rose mists out there that are amazing, but this Blue Tansy mask really caught my eye because you all know how much I love chemical exfoliants like AHA+ BHA for anti-aging and keeping my pores clean/breakouts at bay. With over 4,000 5-star reviews, they’re definitely doing something right.
MEGA – 100% PURE Ultra Holographic Nail Polish | $10 via ILoveNP (ILNP)
I talked about how popular Holographic nail polish was going to be in my post here, but let me tell you, it’s been really hard finding a perfect mermaid-holographic polish under $20! This line is handmade and 3-free (just like all the fancy brands), but costs a fraction of the price.
Amongst The Waves Perfume Oil | $48 via OlivineAtelier
This perfume has been featured in Allure and Redbook, but what really drew me in was the description of the scent. I am not even going to try to recreate/rewrite it:
Imagine walking on a beach in the heat of the day, your toes still in the surf, the tropical breeze washing over your skin still wet from the ocean. You smell the scent of salt air, the coconut oil on your body, tropical flowers from the lush jungle in the not so far distance. At that moment in time, your spirit is soaring Amongst the Waves.
Inspired by my favorite place in the world– Hanalei, Hawaii, Amongst the Waves captures the ultra relaxed, sensory paradise that is a beach day in this Hawaiian nirvana. With a top note of ocean salt and black coconut, Amongst the Waves melts into a full-bodied, floral heart composed of lush stargazer lily, waterlily and tiger lily. These flowers rest on a warm base of clean musk mingling with tonka bean and Arabian sandalwood.

Organic Rose Leaf Bath Salts | Price TBD (seller on short break) via GardenApothecary
Not only would this bottle look stunning on a bathroom counter, I imagine it smells even prettier! This is the type of stuff you expect to find on Etsy – something pretty, organic, unique and natural. They also make a similar lavender one if rose isn’t your thing. I really like this item as a gift.
Nail Armor | $5.99 via SoGloss
Get ready to have your mind blown: imagine never having to soak your nails in acetone when you want to remove your gel polish. These nail wraps get applied prior to painting with gel polish, then allow the polish to simply peel off when you’re ready for a new shade – NO damage done to your nails whatsoever! Polish lasts just as long as it did with standard basecoat. I couldn’t believe it myself until I read the reviews. One order contains enough for 11 full sets (plus a couple of emergency extras).
Borne Cosmetics Organic Mineral Foundation | $16.85 via BorneCosmetics
I think it’s amazing that so many sellers on Etsy are making their own makeup – from eyeshadow to blush and foundations. I wish I was that smart and creative, LOL. Anyway, Borne Cosmetics seems to have a cult following for its beautiful finish, incredible coverage, and organic (vegan options available) makeup products. If you’ve had a hard time finding mineral foundation (or a foundation, in general) that works for you, I highly suggest checking out Jennifer’s BorneCosmetics shop. 14 shades currently available.
Beach Rose Beauty Balm | $32 via good4u
With over 8,500+ 5-star reviews, this one is a winner for my normal/dry/mature readers. Made with “locally gathered beach rose petals” (how romantical), this balm can be applied basically anywhere you get extra dry – face or body – or just spot applied to fine lines/wrinkles. Someone please try this and tell my oily-self how nice it is!?
Monogrammed Cosmetic Bag | $19.95+ via SomethingYouGifts
So I’m going to be a little shameless here, but I ordered these for my bridesmaids a few years ago and I happen to know that they are much-loved to this day… so much so, that I *just* ordered one for myself this weekend (finally… it was way overdue).
You may think these are some run-of-the-mill waffle cosmetic bags, but no. The quality is definitely a step above what I’ve felt in other local shops, but most importantly, it’s a 2-section bag. The larger section is MASSIVE and fully lined so you can easily clean it without staining the material, but my favorite part is the smaller, zipped section with elastic to hold makeup brushes or other beauty tools like tweezers, mini scissors, etc. If you’ve been looking for a new makeup bag, definitely give this shot a try! I doubt you’ll be disappointed.
Reusable Cotton Rounds | from $7 via CuteandFunky
After the makeup station and cosmetic bags, this was my most favorite find! I have been meaning to get some reusable cotton rounds because I go through at least four a day (2/AM, 2/PM… sometimes 3/PM). The brands I have found that make them charge like $20+ for 7! When I found CuteandFunky’s listing, I was thrilled to see I could get the same kind *and* support a small business woman. I imagine they’re probably a lot softer than disposable cotton rounds, too.
Have you picked up any beauty products from Etsy before? What do you recommend? Which of these are your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
