I hope you all found some great Black Friday deals this weekend! It seems a few of you have purchased the new Harry Josh Blow Dryer I demoed a few weeks ago because it’s been 32% off (smarties!), but today we’re talking foundation. Estee Lauder Double Wear, specifically. Most people don’t realize there are more than FIVE different Double Wear formulas, so there’s definitely one to suit your finish and coverage preferences. If you’re curious which Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation is for you, then continue reading.
Because I currently work as a freelance makeup artist for Estee Lauder, I know a lot about the product offerings.
Out of all of the products, I consider myself a foundation expert and truly LOVE helping those looking for their perfect foundation. It’s my #1 favorite part of doing their makeup.
Now, according to Estee Lauder, the order of coverage *I* shared in my video is slightly different.
Officially, Estee Lauder says coverage goes from lightest to fullest as follows:
Personally, I find it’s a bit different and say it goes lightest to fullest like this:
Essentially, Estee Lauder says Nude Water Fresh and Powder are switched in my order. But I argue that powder is something that’s easily buildable so if you’re using a fluffy brush, there’s no way you’re getting lighter coverage than you would using the Water Fresh formula. Anyways!
Let’s get into the demo and review of all of the Estee Lauder Double Wear Formulas including shade options, split face application demos and more…
Now that you’ve watched the video, which formula do you think is best for you?
In case you didn’t know, you can get a free 10-day day sample of Double Wear in your perfect match at any Estee Lauder counter and also at MANY Sephora stores now.
Personally, I’m a big fan of Light and the original Stay In Place formula. I even wore it on my wedding day.
If you’re into YouTube, I’d love it if you subscribed or shared this video with someone you think would find it helpful. I really appreciate it!
