Top New Drugstore and High-End Makeup Finds: My Current Favorites
Wow time flies when you have a baby! I have been meaning to get this blog post out for weeks now (months?) but life really flies. This post is a compilation of worth-your-money makeup products from the drugstore and high end stores like Sephora and others. Quick and to the point! Read more to find what my top new drugstore and high-end makeup finds are in my current favorites…

Lately, I’ve been really struggling with hormonal fluctuations in my skin as I’ve weaned from breastfeeding and with that, my bloodwork is showing imbalances that have led me to deal with frustrating hormonal acne that’s been tough to manage. With this challenge, my typically-mostly-clean makeup picks had to take a backseat to more acne-safe options. So, although I try my best to prioritize clean products, right now, my journey is to ensure I’m using products that are EXTRA acne safe (clean is a bonus). This is not to say the products below are not clean… in fact, most if not all of them are TBH… I just want you to know my thought process in purchasing and using these new makeup hits.
Wet n Wild Skin Tint
I see a lot of people talking about the new Patrick Ta foundation … but honestly, some of the star ingredients in that formula are in this $5 Wet n Wild skin tint – plus it’s totally fungal acne and acne safe with amazing coverage and a hydrated, glowy finish. It’s impeccable, tbh. The shade range is trash, so you may need to buy two… but at $5 (or less on Amazon)… it’s a no brainer.
Juvia’s Place Highlight Blush
Can’t beat the intense pigment and blendability of this drugstore price, Juvia’s Place liquid blush that is fungal acne and acne safe! I loved this red color in Poppy Glow because it has undertones of a golden shimmer which looks so healthy for all skin tones.

NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Concealer
I mainly use concealer under my eyes and for awhile now, I’ve noticed a patch of clogged pores/bumps at my cheekbone and I couldn’t figure out what it could be. It wasn’t my blush or bronzer and I rarely use highlighter… well, once I swapped my go-to concealers for this fungal acne safe option, within a week or so the cheekbone bumpies are gone! This NYX Concealer is not super hydrating or super matte… and I’d say the coverage is a solid full medium.
Revlon Skin Lights Bronzer
A CLEAN and acne safe drugstore option! This Revlon bronzer is an Hourglass dupe because of the pretty sheen and almost baked finish. Such an unsung hero and one more people need to try. Leaves a pretty glow – not metallic or glittery… just healthy.

Saie Dew Blush
Saie is up next for both the liquid blush and bronzers. The shade ranges for both are immaculate and the formula is both clean and acne (even fungal acne) safe! They definitely leave a more dewy finish… but I can take down the shine with a bit of powder or powder blush/bronzer. I currently own four shades now… it’s becoming a full collection! My favorite fall/winter shade is Chilly, and my favorite Spring/Summer shade is Rosy!
Saie Dew Bronzer
See above. I use shade Spritz, which actually shocked me because I never would have picked that shade… I took the shade matcher quiz on Saie’s website and it matched me to Spritz and I just love it. In fact, I’m about due for a new one because I’m finishing up my first (which RARELY happens)! You can shop Saie with this link and save some $.
Living Proof Air Dry Cream
(not makeup but still worth the mention)
Ok… NOT a makeup item… but one I’ve been super impressed with! I’m on a hair health kick right now but this purchase was moreso out of exhaustion. Sometimes I don’t want to heat style/dry my hair at night and I go to bed with damp hair and in the morning I look electrocuted… super frizzy and flat and just unpolished. This heatless, Air Dry cream from Living Proof enhances any natural texture you may have to your hair and leaves is smooth, soft and bouncy – without heat styling required.

Victoria Beckham Eyeliner, bronze
Anyone else really miss Marc Jacobs beauty and their impeccable gel eyeliners!? Ro(cocoa) was my every day all time brown/bronze eyeliner and it was so flattering on ALL eye colors! I’ve tried so hard to find an alternative since Marc Jacobs beauty shut down and haven’t found a close one until now… Victoria Beckham’s makeup is clean… and the shade Bronze is sooo beautiful! It’s a bit lighter than RoCocoa was, but it has a pretty almost olive bronze tone to it that really picks up any gold flecks in my eyes. It’s so pretty on it’s own, in the waterline or paired with a matte neutral eye look.
Sweed Lip Liner, Dream Bigger
Forever on the hunt for a clean alternative to my beloved all time favorite Charlotte Tilbury lip liner in Pillowtalk.. I think Sweed Beauty finally did it! I wanted a shade dupe, longevity dupe and a clean formula… and we hit all three with this lip liner from Sweed in Dream Bigger! The perfect warmer pink/nude to cheat the lip line and enhance any natural lip tone. I finally put away my Charlotte Tilbury and only use this one 🙂 **bonus: get their lash serum… it’s nontoxic and works incredibly! my favorite and I’ve repurchased countless times!
Find me on Insta or TT and let me know if you try and love any of these as much as I do!
