Sephora Sale 2024 Recommendations | the good & the bad

This Sephora sale happens twice a year – Nov. and around Apr. – and honestly? Last year, nothing really stood out to me enough to recommend. But this year I think we have several new products that have really caught my attention and made an impact in my everyday beauty routine. Here are my 17 favorite Sephora Sale recommendations for November 2024. Also including things I tried this year that I did NOT like and returned or gave away… that’s always helpful 😉

Here are my Sephora Sale recommendations and for added help, I put an asterisk next to the products that are clean / low tox.

1. Makeup By Mario Loose Powder – acne safe, fungal acne safe, good for oily or dry skin, talc free
2. Saie Dew Blush* – acne safe, fungal acne safe, glowy/gel cream consistency (I love Rosy and Chilly)
3. Saie Dew Bronzer* – acne safe, fungal acne safe, blends into the skin like a dream (I love Spritz)
4. Saie Lip Oils* – comfortable, non sticky, flattering shades
5. Living Proof Air Dry Cream – must have if you hate blow drying your hair
6. Pureology Hair Mask – an incredibly smoothing, conditioning mask for the most unruly hair
7. K18 Shampoo Peptide Prep* – one of the few shampoos I’ve repurchased; leaves hair bouncy and shiny
8. Tower 28 Concealer* – every day medium coverage, natural finish (better than the popular KOSAS)
9. Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm* – a pretty tinted lip balm for every day, easy to keep in the purse
10. Biossance 100% Squalane Oil* – fungal acne, acne safe… a staple in anyone’s arsenal of skincare
11. Kulfi Cream Eyeshadow, Sona Sona* – budgeproof, flake proof wash of refined glitter
12. Valentino Beauty Matte Lipstick – soft matte, light, comfortable, refillable!
13. InnisFree Volcanic Pore Clay Mask* – detoxifying, oil absorbing without overdrying
14. Dae Styling Cream* – a must for slicked back styles, great for kids hair, too!
15. By Rosie Jane, Rosie* – the prettiest every day clean/fresh fragrance
16. Maison Louis Marie, Bois de Bailloncourt* fragrance+ – my obsession… my signature scent. smells like the $$$$ Santal 33 but this is clean
17. LoveShackFancy, Forever In Love*  fragrance – a pretty, femine yet clean fragrance… a beautiful gift anyone would like

+ this is my signature scent and I have repurchased multiple times

Things I returned or gave away:

1. One/Size Setting Spray – broke me out
2. Huda Beauty Pressed Powder – too drying
3. Hourglass Concealer – always looked patchy, didn’t blend out nicely at all
4. Rare Beauty Brow Gel – initially liked the waxy gel formula, but broke me out around my brows
5. Rare Beauty Loose Powder – oxidizes VERY badly (darker) and best for very dry skin
6. Tower 28 SOS Spray – broke me out (get the Prequel Hypochlorus Spray instead)
7. K18 Leave In Hair Mask – I refuse to believe the hype here, it’s not good for thick, wiry hair
8. ColorWow Money Mask – Nice maybe if you have natural, normal hair… not good for color treated or dry hair (see Pureology option above)
9. Makeup By Mario Bronzing Serum – beautiful formula… I loved this but it is not fungal acne safe and was breaking me out
