Valentine’s Day is around the corner and it’s certainly a holiday I never cared for much (well, and Halloween…. I know I know, I’m no fun). However, after I got married, Valentine’s Day became more fun. It is a scheduled day to make sure you’re letting your loved one know you care since so often, we’re running a thousand miles an hour and can forget (especially during the dreary winter months) to show our affection. I happened to be scrolling through Nordstrom a few weeks ago after returning some Christmas gifts and took a total chance on this top. It wasn’t sure it would be flattering on me, but it’s SO cute! It was on major sale when I scooped it up for $25, but I’m glad they still have it in black and burgundy and I linked two extremely similar options if you want a more exact look. I am wearing size 4.
These black skinnies were purchased when visiting friends in Philadelphia last March. I totally packed wrong for the weather (brought a dress) and was freezing my ass off, so we popped into Macy’s on Chestnut St. and I tried on every single pair of black skinny jeans on sale. I believe I got these babies for less than $30 because the sales associate gave me a little extra discount (so sweet)! They’re INSANELY stretchy and I wear them constantly. I have them in a size 4.
For some reason, the Aldo nude heels aren’t on their website anymore, but any nude heel will work. If you live in a colder climate, the black skinnies would also work well with a black bootie in its place.
