Can’t believe September is almost over! The temperatures in New Jersey are definitely starting to drop and with that, I’ve started to amass a few trendier items to throw into the wardrobe rotation this season. A good pair of casual sneakers, loafers, shackets and jewelry plus a few more are included in these 6 fall clothing pieces I’m loving!
nike daybreak sneakers
I owned and got a lot of good wear out of a pair of basic white canvas sneakers for a few years… but it was time to retire them and to replace them, I picked up these cool off white Nike ones. They remind me of cheer sneakers, right? Super cute on the foot (makes your foot look smaller!) and comfortable. I would not recommend these for working out or walking. They’re strictly a casual sneaker. Great with biker shorts, straight leg or dad jeans, and even dresses!
canvelle sling bag
As a mom, I like to keep my hands free but I also carry a lot of random sh-t. So the tiny Lulu belt bag wasn’t cutting it for every day use (it’s great for hikes, long walks, vacation). So a Beautycounter teammate of mine recommended Canvelle and their sling bags. I almost ordered the oversize one (probably should have) but in the meantime, started with the original size and it’s perfection! Just big enough yet not overwhelming on my 5’3″ frame. Nothing needed to be sacrificed to fit inside!
savannah overalls
A splurge item, these Free People overalls give major 70s vibes! I’ve gotten nonstop compliments when wearing them… literally, every single time I’ve worn them someone stops me. Surprisingly, even my husband likes them (and he usually hates ‘onesie’ style outfits). Short girls, don’t panic… the straps are adjustable so if you’re 5’2″+, you should be fine and won’t need to hem. I wear a size Small.

gold necklace x electric picks
I was introduced to Electric Picks jewelry last year when I ordered a couple pieces related to my infertility journey. They promise not to tarnish through ANYTHING – showering, etc. They’re right! They’ve held their color and they don’t have that fake ‘yellow gold’ look. Love them! This Taylor necklace is perfect for every day on its own or layered with other pieces you already have to freshen up your faves.
walmart shacket
Now, let’s go to the affordable section! Browsing my Walmart recently, I loved the color story of this thicker flannel/shacket! It was soft and true to size. I wear a Medium and it’s just *slightly* oversized… so if you want a baggier fit, I’d size up one or two. You cannot beat this UNDER $20 find!
walmart loafers
These chunkier loafers are replacing slip on mules or flats this season. Wear them with work attire or with jeans and a casual blouse for a slightly elevated/dressier look from day to day. Loving this price for something on the trendier side and the simple style!
